... splendid performance... if only Liverpool can play like that week in week out... anyway, historical matches are rare, not since Fowler scored against Newcastle in 97' with a resounding 4-3 win... but yesterday... Mellor's goal was simply breathtaking... shook the entire Kop stand. It was just one of dem goals... especially when it was Arsenal on the receiving end.

My Sunday Car Wash

Top Row : Entry Point, First Soap Wash
Second Row: Scrubbing, 2nd Scrubbing
Third Row : Car Shower, Blow & Dry.
Mmmm.... my dad would be pissed to know that even with his summer intervention not long ago in asking me to wash my own car, I have continued to be the lazy me but hey, its' winter for christ sake... or rather... errrr... autumn. Therefore as much as I dont want to say this, dad, I am sorry but the car needs a wash and it's just too cold for me to even spend 10 minutes outside when it's almost 5C. However, I have attached some pictures here for your viewing and I hope you understand how cold it is considering what the man was wearing in Picture 1. Enjoy. Ta'.

WTF?
"GOVERNMENT offices and commercial houses in Johor have been instructed to fly flags at half-mast as a sign of respect for Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, according to Berita Harian.
State Secretary Datuk Mohd Razali Mahusin said the order, made by the Sultan of Johor, was effective until Arafat's burial in Ramallah. "
After browsing through much of the Berita Harian Online edition, I still could not verify this news. But having said that, I can only comprehend this much and I thought that flying a flag at half-mast in Malaysia was only reserved for the passing of dignitaries or royals or individuals who are of Malaysian nationality. Therefore, if such is the case, why are Johor's government offices and commercial houses instructed to fly the Malaysian flag at half mast? or was it the Palestinian flag? Even that, flying a Palestinian flag in Malaysia to show respect for President Arafat? I mean, don't misunderstand me as I have plenty of respect for President Arafat and I mourn his passing with the rest of the world as I believe in his cause.
But such incident can only de-neutralise our country's stance to the so-called 'leaning states' if news as such spread. I find it rather disturbing that the Johor state can call for such 'official' stance, espcially when the order was made by the Sultan of Johor. I can't help but think that it has something to do with religion (correct me if I am wrong); especially when in times like these, the mention of religion as a sensitive issue can cause outrage as has been clearly demonstrated by what is happening around the world. Even if it's politically motivated, do you think it's right that such actions should be called for? I don't think so although I do agree that the Middle-East crisis should be on every nation's agenda for the forthcoming decade or so.

Dumb, Dumber, Dumbest
"Flying taxi could take off in just five years at £40 a ride. A flying taxi that can whisk commuters from Heathrow to Central London in just a few minutes for only £40 could be in operation...... (good Lord... makes easy commuting and no traffic! That's great)
Avcen managing director Mike Dacre said: 'We believe that once there is an aircraft that can do these things, cities will make space for it. (and so will terrorists in their destruction plans)
....We know cities like Moscow, Tokyo and New York are crying out for something like this. (so are terrorists)
.... Unlike big passenger jets, the Jetpod would fly at no more than 750ft. It would cruise at 350mph, slower than an airliner but faster than a light aircraft or civilian helicopter. (Terrorists: hmmmm, just the right size and speed for me. This will do!)
....There is nothing like it around at the moment. Each Jetpod should cost about £550,000 and proof of concept flights are due to be carried out in 18 months." (18 months? We have already endured a 911 disaster... dont you think it should be manufactured for security purposes such like Jetpod police patrols rather than for commercial use?)
Hhhhmmmm.... anyway, after Dubya's recent election victory, it's Blair's time to face the wrath of Brits... but will he survive his people's will as Tony Parsons' column (...Daily Mirror) finds out
VOTING BLAIR = DUMBER
Nov 8 2004. IF the 59,054,087 Americans who voted for George Bush are dumb, then you wonder where that leaves the British. At least huge numbers of Americans love and respect their Bible-bashing, warmongering, holier-than-thou leader.
As far as I can tell, everybody in Britain despises our own Bible-bashing, warmongering, holier-than-everybody leader. Even his own party. Especially his own party. But will the British kick out Tony Blair at the next general election? Will they hell.
Americans have voted in a President that millions of them believe in. Now you might think that Dubya has the intellectual ability of the rear end of a pantomime horse, and I might agree with you. But next year the British will vote in a Prime Minister that nobody believes in.
Now you tell me - who is dumb and who is dumber?
I blame Kerry's celebrity endorsers. If I lived in some rust belt hellhole and I saw pious millionaires like Bruce Springsteen and Ben Affleck telling me to vote for John Kerry, then it would have been very difficult to avoid voting for George Bush. Get back to your mansions, boys. Another mistake the liberal elite made was believing that the American election was about Iraq. It was for you and me. Dubya's re-election makes a terrorist attack in the city where I live much more likely. But then we didn't have a vote, did we? A Los Angeles Times survey said that most Bush supporters voted on moral issues. Abortion, stem cell research, gay marriage.
Dubya's supporters voted for a conservative agenda because they could vote no other way. The working man cares about his job and the society his children are growing up in. He doesn't give a flying toss about the rights of two guys with plucked eyebrows in San Francisco to hold hands on their special day.
Personally, I have nothing against gay marriage. On the other hand, it is so far down on my list of priorities that you would need a magnifying glass to see it. Kerry, with his undertaker's face and his high-profile celebrity supporters, was always going to be a turn-off for America's heartland. People forget that for the Americans, God is not dead. I once asked a young housewife and mother in the Mid-West what she did for fun on Sundays. She looked at me as though I had invited her to a gangbang with the local chapter of Hells Angels. 'We go to church,' she said. Bush is the Christian leader of what is still very much a Christian country. Blair is the Christian leader of what is now largely a secular country.
Bush has no problem justifying the deaths of 100,000 Iraqis - it is what God wants him to do. Those tortured prisoners, the maimed children - George thinks God wants it this way. Blair - our own simpering C of E vicar - can't hide behind The Bible, as much as he would love to.
That is why we were sold the blatant lie about weapons of mass destruction. Tone knew we wouldn't sign up for a crusade. America is still a great country - generous, exhilarating, gloriously free of anything resembling a class system - and it will still be a great country long after Dubya has slinked off to his retirement in Texas. Assuming he doesn't blow up the world in the next four years. Dubya's supreme lie, and his great crime against humanity, is linking Iraq to the mass murder of 9/11. But I'm not sure we have right to get too sniffy about dumb Yanks. British soldiers are currently dying in Iraq for a cause they do not believe in, their army does not believe in and their country does not believe.
Yet within a year the man who sent them there will almost certainly win a third term as Prime Minister. Now how dumb is that? -Courtesy of Daily Mirror
... but who will govern the country? Michael Howard? Charles Kennedy? Gimme a break!.... but who else?? Is there anyone who is charismatically closer to the compared? We'll see...
And also... contrary to Daily Mirror's front page headline (below), they are NOT dumb!
... because it has been revealed in a survey that a certain pattern emerged when comparing intelligence levels between the various US states and they are listed here. Anyway, the results were NOT shocking but amusing.
Bush..... IQ: 91
Kerry.... IQ: 128
.....Hhhmmmm.... now that explains why.

Autumn: The Beginning
The sound of rustling leaves from tree tops, echoes the autumn winds that serenades the tranquility of the moment, and leaf by leaf, picked up by the winds, that dances gracefully through thin air... gives me an insight to the peace that I shall seek from within.

Lazy Sunday
Well, guess what!?? you can leave it. drop your plans of watching it. Dont even think abt going to the counter and ask for ticket stubs (even if its free) because at the end of the show, you'll be f***ing yourself for f***ing wasting your time to even comtemplate on watching it. Need I say more? Give it a MISS. In fact, you wont be dissapointed. The honest truth is, the movie will bore you to death with unimaginable lack-of-creativity-with-technology shite. Take this from me... spend your £4 wisely (in my case, £8)... spend it on something else because as much as I hate to admit it, I have been duped for believing that this pre-sequel was the best of the best of any horror films ever made. It not only didnt live up to the hype, someone had actually dozed off behind me at the cinema. Ok... enuf said. you judge for yourself.
However, all was not lost. Spent some quality time with me girl and these are the times that we long for after slogging out the week. Tomorrow is a brand new day, a new beginning and I just cant wait for my one way trip back to my homies. Damn... miss those times. Provisionally... I've still got 120 more days... and seriously..?.... I cant wait. Later... Ta'....

Whatta Jerk?!!
Me : Hello Sir, table for two?
Blighmey.... I wonder if they have ever travelled round or for that matter, saw any Chinese before because from the moment you step into the Chinese restaurant I am working for, you'll definitely notice this big Chinese statue and some Chinese wordings at the entrance and ok... he would be forgiven if he did not see any of these but hey... hello!!!! Do I look Indian to you??? I understand shit happens but seriously.... this is by far the most funniest yet ignorant customer I have ever come across!! A thousand apologies but this is a CHINESE RESTAURANT.
No offence to any Indian nationals out there but I am sure, even they would be able to distinguish between a Chinese and Indian (as I've said... pls... no offence. This is a matter of using our brains for a second) . So, to all you out there, seriously.... see, ask yourself questions before ppl like Mr. Arse starts to order any food! Thank you.

Sanity: 123 Days To Go
Autumn has set in OFFICIALLY.... which brings with it... gales and rain and although I despise it very much, I think I will try to enjoy as much of it as possible because none of this will happen back home. As I sat at work today, I tried to picture myself back in Malaysia and I really wondered how it would be because it has been 4 years since I last went back home. Although I get the frequent updates from homies back home on what to expect, I still couldnt picture myself in any of those environment. Not that I am petrified with it. In fact, I am overwhelmed and excited by it but it does gives me the tiny weeny bit of fear in what to expect. My girl and I sometimes talk about it and we always come to a dead end on this topic. Seriously? I cant wait. But I hope things back home will be calmer and problems can be solved before I return. If not, it can be really crazy.

In A Daze
All those years developing friendships and brotherhood... I thank you all for being there now especially you Ai Lun. And also to my G's family whom has lended me a very big relief that they'll be there. Thank you. I hope this phase passes by without anyone injured or I will seek D-Day myself as mentioned on my previous post. Please pray for me and my cause. I am keeping my finger's crossed.

MMmmmm...
10.10am: Got up and cleaned up. It was one of the worst nights ever.. hate arguing before I sleep although I knew it was petty.
10.35am: Got out and went to work. It was extraordinary quiet. no conversations at all but when there were... we were at it again. I really hate myself for saying the wrong things all the time... I really do hate myself. At this point of time, my ego took over me and I was completely adamant that there was nothing I can do.
11.00am: Reached workplace and started cleaning up, and did the same old routine for the last one and a half years. But by now... I dunno why, it seemed as though I had a knock on my head telling me... you stoooooopid fool! drop your ego and apologize.
2.30pm: Dropped my decision to go back and eventually went to Cafe Nero hoping that Stephie will be there as well. Fortunately she was.
4.50pm: AND fortunately again, we managed to talked it out, kicked confusion aside, and come to terms with what we've been doing wrong all these while.
5.00pm: Started work again as usual... three words, boring boring boring.
2.27am: Finished work, same ol routine, checked for mails, news, news and news and updating blog. Tomorrow a brighter day? I really hope so. But winter blues are creeping in... its getting colder by the day, but at least I am glad that we have clarified things today. You have brightened up my life again.
