Dumb, Dumber, Dumbest

Air Cab

"Flying taxi could take off in just five years at £40 a ride. A flying taxi that can whisk commuters from Heathrow to Central London in just a few minutes for only £40 could be in operation...... (good Lord... makes easy commuting and no traffic! That's great)

Avcen managing director Mike Dacre said: 'We believe that once there is an aircraft that can do these things, cities will make space for it. (and so will terrorists in their destruction plans)

....We know cities like Moscow, Tokyo and New York are crying out for something like this. (so are terrorists)

.... Unlike big passenger jets, the Jetpod would fly at no more than 750ft. It would cruise at 350mph, slower than an airliner but faster than a light aircraft or civilian helicopter. (Terrorists: hmmmm, just the right size and speed for me. This will do!)

....There is nothing like it around at the moment. Each Jetpod should cost about £550,000 and proof of concept flights are due to be carried out in 18 months." (18 months? We have already endured a 911 disaster... dont you think it should be manufactured for security purposes such like Jetpod police patrols rather than for commercial use?)

Hhhhmmmm.... anyway, after Dubya's recent election victory, it's Blair's time to face the wrath of Brits... but will he survive his people's will as Tony Parsons' column (...Daily Mirror) finds out

VOTING BUSH = DUMB

VOTING BLAIR = DUMBER

Nov 8 2004. IF the 59,054,087 Americans who voted for George Bush are dumb, then you wonder where that leaves the British. At least huge numbers of Americans love and respect their Bible-bashing, warmongering, holier-than-thou leader.

As far as I can tell, everybody in Britain despises our own Bible-bashing, warmongering, holier-than-everybody leader. Even his own party. Especially his own party. But will the British kick out Tony Blair at the next general election? Will they hell.

Americans have voted in a President that millions of them believe in. Now you might think that Dubya has the intellectual ability of the rear end of a pantomime horse, and I might agree with you. But next year the British will vote in a Prime Minister that nobody believes in.
Now you tell me - who is dumb and who is dumber?

I blame Kerry's celebrity endorsers. If I lived in some rust belt hellhole and I saw pious millionaires like Bruce Springsteen and Ben Affleck telling me to vote for John Kerry, then it would have been very difficult to avoid voting for George Bush. Get back to your mansions, boys. Another mistake the liberal elite made was believing that the American election was about Iraq. It was for you and me. Dubya's re-election makes a terrorist attack in the city where I live much more likely. But then we didn't have a vote, did we? A Los Angeles Times survey said that most Bush supporters voted on moral issues. Abortion, stem cell research, gay marriage.
Dubya's supporters voted for a conservative agenda because they could vote no other way. The working man cares about his job and the society his children are growing up in. He doesn't give a flying toss about the rights of two guys with plucked eyebrows in San Francisco to hold hands on their special day.

Personally, I have nothing against gay marriage. On the other hand, it is so far down on my list of priorities that you would need a magnifying glass to see it. Kerry, with his undertaker's face and his high-profile celebrity supporters, was always going to be a turn-off for America's heartland. People forget that for the Americans, God is not dead. I once asked a young housewife and mother in the Mid-West what she did for fun on Sundays. She looked at me as though I had invited her to a gangbang with the local chapter of Hells Angels. 'We go to church,' she said. Bush is the Christian leader of what is still very much a Christian country. Blair is the Christian leader of what is now largely a secular country.

Bush has no problem justifying the deaths of 100,000 Iraqis - it is what God wants him to do. Those tortured prisoners, the maimed children - George thinks God wants it this way. Blair - our own simpering C of E vicar - can't hide behind The Bible, as much as he would love to.
That is why we were sold the blatant lie about weapons of mass destruction. Tone knew we wouldn't sign up for a crusade. America is still a great country - generous, exhilarating, gloriously free of anything resembling a class system - and it will still be a great country long after Dubya has slinked off to his retirement in Texas. Assuming he doesn't blow up the world in the next four years. Dubya's supreme lie, and his great crime against humanity, is linking Iraq to the mass murder of 9/11. But I'm not sure we have right to get too sniffy about dumb Yanks. British soldiers are currently dying in Iraq for a cause they do not believe in, their army does not believe in and their country does not believe.

Yet within a year the man who sent them there will almost certainly win a third term as Prime Minister. Now how dumb is that? -Courtesy of Daily Mirror

... but who will govern the country? Michael Howard? Charles Kennedy? Gimme a break!.... but who else?? Is there anyone who is charismatically closer to the compared? We'll see...

And also... contrary to Daily Mirror's front page headline (below), they are NOT dumb!

... because it has been revealed in a survey that a certain pattern emerged when comparing intelligence levels between the various US states and they are listed here. Anyway, the results were NOT shocking but amusing.

Bush..... IQ: 91
Kerry.... IQ: 128

.....Hhhmmmm.... now that explains why.
